Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. This website is not a consumer reporting agency as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) defines the term. The information here, and on any third-party tool linked from this site, may not be used to make decisions about credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or any other purpose the FCRA covers. Background checks for those purposes must go through a screening provider that complies with the FCRA.
Privately Operated Reference Site
This site is privately operated. We are not a court, a sheriff's office, or any government agency, and we are not endorsed by or connected to one. We do not issue warrants, serve warrants, or keep any official warrant system. We point you toward the offices that do: the Sheriff's Office, the 56A District Court, the Circuit Court Clerk after bindover, and the Michigan courts that publish public case information.
Accuracy of Information
Courts and sheriff's offices change addresses, hours, phone numbers, and procedures with little notice, and warrant systems update throughout the day. We try to keep these pages current, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is correct at any given moment. Before traveling to a counter or sending a payment, call the office directly to confirm.
Warrant Status Changes - Verify Before You Rely
A warrant is a live record. Process is issued, recalled, quashed, served, and sometimes sealed, and a status can turn over in a single day. A search that comes back clear is not proof that no warrant exists. A warrant may not have been entered yet, may sit with a different court, or may never appear on a public list at all. A listing you saw last week may not match what the file says today. Before you act on a warrant's status, or on its absence, confirm it with the issuing court or the office serving the process.
Treat any warrant result you find as a starting point. Only the issuing court or the office serving the process can confirm whether a warrant currently exists and whether it has been recalled, served, or sealed.
Verify With the Official Source
Nothing on this site is an official record. If a decision turns on a warrant's status, its charge, its bond, or whether it has been cleared, get the answer from the office that holds the file. Michigan Court Rule 8.119 opens court records to public inspection unless a statute, a court rule, or a court order restricts them, and the clerk who keeps the docket is the person who can apply that rule to a request.
Some files sit behind stricter limits. Juvenile records are confidential under MCL 712A.28, and sealed or restricted matters stay closed regardless of what any public search shows. A docket entry is also not a live warrant confirmation, because warrant-status cases may not display in the public interface at all.
Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice. We point to resources and explain how warrants generally work in Eaton County, but a website cannot take the place of a licensed attorney, especially for an open warrant, a surrender, a bond decision, or how a warrant affects you personally.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some pages here include search boxes supplied by outside companies. We do not control what those tools return, how they price their services, or how they handle data you submit. Their results may be incomplete, out of date, or matched to the wrong person, and they carry the same FCRA restrictions described above.
Outbound Links
We link to sheriff's office sites, Eaton County court pages, Michigan court and state resources, and other reference material. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any outside site.
No Records on This Site
This site hosts no warrants, warrant lists, case files, or court records. We point to the offices that hold them. To confirm an actual warrant, you have to check with the issuing court or the office serving the process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you tell me if there is a warrant for me?
No. We do not host or maintain any warrant system. The official answer comes from the issuing court or the office serving the process. You can start with a warrant check or by contacting the Sheriff's Office.
Does a clear result mean I have no warrant?
No. A clear result is not proof that no warrant exists. Process gets added, recalled, served, or sealed, and some matters never appear on a public list. Confirm your status with the issuing court.
Who can clear or recall a warrant?
Only the court that issued it can recall or clear a warrant. Speak with an attorney and the issuing court.
